**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment and systems within our facilities. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and general repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, including machinery and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, inventory, and service schedules.
- Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life.
- Collaborate with other team members and management to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions in operations.
- Maintain tools and workshop areas ensuring cleanliness and organization.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts if necessary.
